I’ve mentioned this before, but when it keeps happening to you, you start to question yourself and your methods! On Saturday, we saw both Doc Hay and Dungannon win, 2 horses I backed last time out and both whom I didn’t back on Saturday. And yes Mr Hulmes text me to say thanks. It is unbelievable isn’t it? As Travis once said “Why does it always rain on me?”
Helmet is off to Paris for the Arc this weekend, this guy is never in this country for longer than 1 month at a time. He must be some successful punter, though when I speak to him, he just seems clueless. However, he is going to Paris and I’m not so that tells you all you need to know doesn’t it? He is very keen on Treve and Al Kazeem for the big one and says he will have a Stella Artois just for me when one of them wins – so kind.
There’s nothing to get jiggy about during the week, but the weekend is exciting with Longchamp, Ascot, Newmarket and Redcar to bet on, plus the highlight of the Super League season, the Grand Final at Old Trafford. If you have never been, to this occasion, I recommend you try to get there one day and sample a real man’s sport played at Manchester for a change. None of the rolling about on the floor when someone touches you in this game. The more physical you are, the greater the rewards. Passion, skill and excitement are all on display and it is a great occasion for all sport enthusiasts.
