Greetings sports fans everywhere. The road to Wrestlemania starts in the early hours of Monday morning with the Royal Rumble. A 30 man frenzy in which the idea is to eliminate your opponents, be the last man standing and earn yourself the rite to have a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania! How very exciting, except it probably isn’t. Batista who is about 50 has just returned and stands at odds on to win it, that’s a bit rubbish really isn’t it? Still I think that if you want a bet, the person to do the most eliminations, I.E. throw most men over the ropes, has some mileage in it. I think the man mountain Big E Langston looks good value at roughly 5s so check that out. For what it’s worth, I think the last 4 men in the ring will be Batista, CM Punk, Big E Langston and Roman Reigns.
Now as today’s headline indicates, I’m not going to overly complicate matters. There are some really good horses available today at nice prices. Not fancy prices, but backable prices. I have changed my attack plan as well. Normally I just do singles but today I recoomend we back these beauties in a yankee (11 bets – 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a fourfold), to really maximise profits.
Rock on Ruby was due to be running at Doncaster, but he has been withdrawn due to the overnight rain. Hopefully in the next 2 years, this rain will stop and he will get out before Cheltenham, as he does need some more experience before the Arkle.
