That Wascally Wabbit

By | May 14, 2014

Poor Elmer Fudd was always trying to catch himself a wascally wabbit, but he wasn’t too clever, was he?

Well dear readers, I have found us our own wascal, I mean Rascal, in the form of Royal Rascal.

Here we have a horse due to run in the 2.15 at York that has some stand out form when the going is soft as it is today.

He has already posted 2 wins on soft at York and has another course win to his name to boot. That makes him of major interest today.

His only disappointing run came last year at this meeting, when, after a good first season, he stepped up to Group 3 and ran against some of the fastest horses around, Society Rock and Lethal Force, finishing down the field.

He clearly had something wrong last season as he only appeared twice and didn’t show much at all, but he looked more like his old self on his seasonal debut at Pontefract a month ago, staying on nicely at the end, on ground too fast for him. Back at his favourite track with conditions in his favour and a good middle draw, he looks like nap material.

So go bag yourself a Royal Rascal in the 2.15 at York and take the 10s with bet365.
