Doncaster St Leger meeting day 2

By | September 12, 2013

Helmet and I were in the hotel bar last night enjoying a couple of ladyboys – Partridge style of course – when in walked a busty blonde. Now Helmet fancies himself as a ladies man and so after he stopped drooling, approached the aforementioned young lady. He casually slid over, sat next to her at the bar and engaged her in conversation. What he said I don’t know and he won’t say, but after 5 minutes, the blonde stood up, whispered something in his ear and slapped him across the face! However, we have now worked out the message that she gave him and people I give you InYorDreams in the 1.40pm. Available at 14s with our featured bookie of the month  bet365 and a number of our other bookmakers.

The rain had definitely got into the ground yesterday and most of the winners had shown decent form on good to soft. The times were all below standard suggesting that we should stick with those horses who prefer some give today, although there is no more rain forecast until after racing.

Again, I am going to be patient and wait until the final race of the afternoon and split my bet on 2 horses. The 1m 2f handicap should provide plenty of excitement with the long Doncaster straight normally eliminating any unlucky runs/stories/excuses. As I said yesterday, I prefer to rely on horses who have won over the trip and on the ground when I’m having a bet. The 2 that stand out for me both have run well on rain softened ground and over this distance and so make some appeal at the current odds. Step forward Viewpoint 7s with Ladbrokesand Clon Brulee 9s with bet365. However you can check out the prices with all of our bookmakers, as prices will fluctuate throughout the day.
