Round ’em up

Howdy partners. It’s Yeeha time. I’m talking about a rooting tooting bookie shooting time. We’re gonna round up the wagons and head on over the prairie and find ourselves some varmints to take care of. Oh yes, I’m shooting with both barrels today and you can believe that we are taking aim at the big boys. YEEHA!

The 2000 Guineas is simply a no bet race for me. There is always the inclination to want to have a bet on big races, but purely from a form perspective it is a really tough ask to predict the winner. Is Kingman the new wonder horse? Is Australia the new wonder horse? Let’s start there. Both talked up as the best we’ve had by the trainers, both showing a great turn of foot and both brought to perfection for the big day. But that’s not all. We also have Group 1 winners in Toormoor, War Command and Kingston Hill. Add in the Spanish wonder horse Noozah Canaria and there is a gem of a race in prospect but not one that you could get an angle on or an edge in. I am really looking forward to watching this race and it will no doubt throw up loads of winners in the future.

So what are we betting on today then? Well I’m going to mix it up a bit with 2 from Newmarket, 2 from Thirsk and 1 over in Punchestown. And finally if you are having a go at the Scoop 6 today, I have put up my perm below to help you.

Newmarket 14.05 – Niceofyoutotellme – 12s with bet365

Newmarket 14.40 – Sole Power – 7/2 with bet365

Thirsk 15.00 – Shahdaroba – 20s with bet365

Thirsk 15.40 – Off Art – 7/2 with bet365

Punchestown 16.55 – Heaney – 7s with bet365

Scoop 6: Leg 1 – Niceofyoutotellme and Roserow; Leg 2 – Sole Power and Dinkum Diamond; Leg 3 – Shahdaroba and Kingscroft; Leg 4 – Jiroft and Fair Value ; Leg 5 – Off Art; Leg 6 – Toormoor and War Command. 32 lines. Best of luck hope that helps.
